This is a house about discovery.

Our clients are interested in: native flora, fauna, and river habitat; geology; natural color and texture; art; natural light; immersion in the environment of the river.

Their site has interests and characteristics, too: sun, wind, rain, flooding, growing, reflections, color, texture, temperature.

The discovery is what happens when these are combined - a balance. Before understanding the clients and the site, we had no preconceptions of the house. Therefore, what we discovered is specific to both.
